Meet the Founder

I have dedicated my career to helping students develop both academic excellence and confidence in themselves as learners. My practice is grown as a high school and college pedagogue/professor and through Math for America as a mathematics master teacher and as an active research consultant.

As a mathematics educator, tutor, coach, and mentor, I have worked with students across a wide range of abilities. Those needing foundational support to those enrolled in honors, Advanced Placement, and college-level mathematics courses.

My approach combines deep content knowledge with an understanding of how students learn, organize, and perform under pressure. I believe that lasting success occurs when students develop both conceptual understanding and the executive functioning skills necessary to manage their academic responsibilities independently.

Through Making Math Meaningful, I strive to provide students and families with highly personalized support that builds competence, confidence, and long-term success.
